The Home Care Association of Alabama was formed in 1978 to provide a unified voice for home care providers, supporting the concept that the home environment plays a significant role in promoting well being and facilitating the healing process.
It is our mission to:
- Advocate for the effective and efficient delivery of home health care in Alabama;
- Lead the unified voice of home care in our state; and
- Uphold high ethical standards for all home health agencies in our state and nation.
The association is governed by a Board of Directors which includes an Executive Committee, seven Regional Directors, a Public Health Department Representative, Associate Member Representative and Affiliate Member Representative.
The association is operated as a IRS 501(c)6 corporation.
We currently have one full time Executive Director who manages the day to day operations.
